Books and the importance of reading

There are many books out there that go over personal development and not only get your mindset right, but keep your mindset right. Now I know what your thinking, I don’t read books. That was exactly my mindset starting out as well, I was the guy who copied peoples papers in high school and pretended to read during reading time. I understand, trust me. But, if you want something bad enough. you will do it.

Reading isn’t as bad as you think either, I actually enjoy reading these books now. Trust me, I never thought I would say those words either, but its true! When you love what you do, reading about it, really isn’t that bad at all, not to mention the way you feel after reading these books is amazing!

Your probably wondering what books am I talking about? Well, there are countless books, but let me go over a few of my favorites.

Think and Grow Rich: The Landmark Bestseller – Now Revised and Updated for the 21st Century

This book is a great choice and a very popular choice. It really gets you into the mindset of a successful entrepreneur and really changes the way you think about life as a whole and whats in it. It will go over some of the key principles of a successful mindset and by the end of this book, your mindset will be completely different, I can promise you that.

A Happy Pocket Full of Money, Expanded Study Edition: Infinite Wealth and Abundance in the Here and Now

This book is by far my favorite of any I have read. This book had the biggest impact on me and my success I continue to have now. It really goes into what money is, and the mindset of it. Then goes into what your mindset should be about it, and really how to attract it to you. This book is the main reason I went from living in a apartment with a room mate with no furniture to now in a house outside of Las Vegas, and never have to worry about money again. Great read and I highly suggest this book.

The Magic (The Secret)

This book is a must have, A huge part of success is your morning routine, the most important part of every day. This book is perfect for a morning routine and read 1 chapter a day. This book will really get you to realize all the things you have, but yet take for granted. You will learn what gratitude is, and really how strong of a impact it has on every little thing you do in life. This is a fun book to read and will really get your mind going through out every single day.

Rich Dad Poor Dad: What The Rich Teach Their Kids About Money That the Poor and Middle Class Do Not!

This is a much shorter book, but has just as much meaning if not more in it. It is truly a great first read for people who “think” they don’t like reading. It will go over the two mindsets, one of a poor person, and one of a rich person. It will compare them side by side so you can see the flaws of each and really open up your eyes to the important of mindset. If you are not a big reader, I highly suggest this book to start with, and see how quick your mindset changes about reading.

You should be personally reading 1 hour a day at minimum of any book you choose, the ones above are some of my personal favorites and some great starter ones. You should also be reading “The Magic” every morning on top of reading 1 hour a day. This book takes almost no time at all in the morning and trust me, it is truly worth it if your serious about getting out of that poor state and into a wealthy state.
