Goals are another huge part of becoming successful in any field you are in. Most people think about tomorrow, but they are unable to think of next week, or next month, or next year. When you are able to expand your mind to years and years into the future, and envision where you will be day by day all the way to that point, success will come your way. The average truly successful person does not write down a couple goals, they have thousands if not more goals.
If you do not have a clear start and stop point, if you do not have a clear path, you are to likely to wander off course and end up somewhere else, or to change your mind over and over and never achieve anything, but rather keep starting over.
Now, not achieving a goal is not a bad thing like most come to think, it actually is a good thing. Now let me explain.
The issue with people making goals isn’t that they make them so high, and don’t reach them. It is that they set them so low, reach them so quick, and then they settle for them. The way i make goals and see it myself is, if you set a goal, and reach it. You set it to low.
You want to set a goal you have to continually strive for, that you never give up on, as Grant Cardone would say, make your goals 10x. as in make your goals 10 times higher than what you think you can possibly achieve. Which goal would you rather fall short on, a 1x goal, or a 10x goal. If you fall short on a 10x goal you are a lot more likely to pass that 1x goal cause you had to push yourself and strive for that goal 10 times as much. That is exactly what you want.
If you think you can make one-thousand dollars in a week, set your goal to 10,000. You will then activate your mind and think, how can I achieve this? You will get more creative, your drive will get stronger, and that, is where your million dollar ideas will come from. And if you fall short of your goal, and only reach 5,000 dollars, guess what. You just reached 5x farther than what you originally thought you could do.
When setting goals make sure you get out of your comfort zone, the issue more people have when making goals is they are to afraid to get out of there comfort zone. To be successful, you have to stay outside of your comfort zone and get use to new ideas. When making goals, make them outside of your comfort zone, so you have to push for them, and also be as specific as possible when making them. Get clear on your vision. If you want a new car, what kind of car? What color? Why do you want it? Who are you going to show it to? Why? Get in depth.
Make your goals and write them down on paper, put them up somewhere you will be able to read them off to yourself every single day. If you do this, you are twice as likely to achieve those goals, or to not give up on them. Remember, the only way to fail at anything in life, is to give up. If you keep pushing, and never give up, the only option is success no matter what it is, guaranteed.
