You want to be successful? Never have to worry about money again, not have to wait for that item you wanted to go on sale and just be able to get it whenever? Or how about simply being able to get your family the things they want and never having to say no to them again.
In order to become successful enough to get to that point, you don’t have to have a good college education, multiple degrees, or any degrees. You don’t even have to of graduated high school! Sounds crazy right? Well listen up, because I am going to tell you EXACTLY how to become successful.
Becoming successful, How do you do it? You must first develop it within yourself first. What do I mean? Well its simple. You have to open your mind and broaden it. See into the future, clear all doubts and disbelief’s. You have to mentally see your self being successful, what your dream day will look like, in very specific detail. If you want a House of your own for example, you have to get deep into it. Why do you want this house, how many bedrooms, how many bathrooms, why that many bed rooms and bathrooms. What will you do with each? What do you want each room to look like, how big. Do you want a walk in closet? A walk in shower? Get down to every single detail.
Once you have manifested into your mental reality and focus on it day in and day out, there will be no other choice but for it to manifest into your physical reality. Yes, it’s that simple! Don’t believe me? Try it! Or better yet, ask any successful entrepreneur who makes millions on personal development and what their thoughts of it are. This “Million dollar mindset” Is the single most important thing, and what you will find in common with every single successful person.
Now you may be asking, how do I develop this mindset? Read this book through its entirety and put all the pieces together and really focus on them, then without even knowing it you will have developed the mindset in no time.
Shall we get started?
Goal setting is one of the most important parts, if not the most important part of developing this secret mindset. Without goals you are on a path with no end, you will end up lost and off track. Goals are what keep you on track and get to where you want to be. Without a clear start and clear finish, you can’t ever get to where you want.
How you set your goals is just as important, one of the biggest issues I see with people setting goals is that they set them to low. Don’t be afraid of not hitting your goals, it is completely fine to not reach them. Why? Well let me give you an example. If you set a goal to reach $5,000 dollars in 90 days compared to setting your goal to reach$ 50,000 dollars in 90 days. Which would it be better to fall short on?$ 50,000 of course. Because if you fall short on $50,000 in 90 days, but say you reached $10,000 in 90 days. You just doubled what you originally thought you could do. You pushed yourself that much harder and went farther than what you thought was possible.
This is huge, the way I see it with goals is if you set a goal, and reached it, you most likely set that goal to low. The issue I see with reaching your goal, is once you have reached it, your progress slows down or completely stops. You become satisfied. But if you were to of set your goal higher, you would have reached that point and kept striving for more. I would rather set a goal of making $50,000 in 90 days and come short and make $10,000, over setting my goal for $5,000 and reaching it. Or ever over achieving on it and reaching $6,000.
Another issue with people setting goals is the certainty and word choices they use when setting goals. When you set a goal it is not “I hope to reach $50,000 in 90 days” Or “I’ll try” or “I wish” or any other word choice that leaves that uncertainty there. When setting a goal you need to set your goals as if you already have them “I made $50,000 in 90 days” you need to have absolutely 0% doubt in your mind when setting goals.
You also need to remind yourself every single day of what your goals are. I do not care if you know them so well that you can recite them word for word without even looking at them. You still need to sit down every single morning before doing anything else and write them down again, then read them back to yourself out loud. You will then carry that with you through out the day, remind yourself of them periodically. Then again before you go to bed, write your goals down once more. Those goals will then be the last thing on your mind before going to bed and will be what you focus on through out your sleep.
The number of goals you have will equal the amount of success you have. If you have 100 goals, you will not get as much success as the person who has 1,000, and he will not have as much success as the one who has 10,000. The more goals you have, the more open your mind is, the more success you will have without fail. Any time you can think of a new goal throughout the day, however big or small it is, you need to write it down and repeat it to yourself. Regardless if you’re at work, at the gym, or at home. That is the great thing about technology these days, you can write it down in your phone if you don’t have paper near you.
Doing these practices will ensure you that you get to where you want to be and get on a certain path towards your future that you choose. Remember this, everything around you is a direct result of what you focus on.
One important thing you have to remember is time doesn’t change. Everyone has 24 hours in a day regardless where they live, who they are, or how successful they are. Nobody has an upper hand on this. This always stays equal.
The only difference is how one manages time. I hear it all the time, “I worked 50 hours this week, I don’t have time” You need to drop the excuses, if you want to be great, you want to be successful, you have to put in the time. Lets look at an example. Numbers don’t lie, right?
50 hours a week of work, OK well every human being on earth has 168 hours in a week. You just spent 50 hours working so now you have 118 hours left of your week. You only need 6 hours of sleep for a good night sleep. Any more and that’s just time wasted. Now we aren’t going to take hours away from your sleep, we know that’s important. So 6 hours of sleep a day for 7 days in a week equals 42 hours a week sleeping. Ok now your down to 76 hours in your week left. Now yes you need to eat and shower and get ready. lets take out 3 hours a day for that and be generous. ( this is actual time you spend eating and getting ready, if you’re talking with your friends and stuff, that is more wasted time) so this equals 21 hours a week of eating and getting ready each day. Now your down to 55 hours a week.
What are you doing for those 55 hours a week that you say your to busy for? Watching TV? Talking with friends, going out, other stuff that holds you back in life and isn’t productive? If you want to be successful you have to pay the price today, so you can live the life tomorrow.
There is such an abundance of time, there is no reason you should ever be too busy to work on yourself and your dream. Now I know what your thinking, you need breaks. Correct, that is what sitting down to eat does. You need more breaks than that? Completely fine! Sit down and take a short break. Take a 15 second break to catch your breath, or maybe even a 30 second break if your feeling your working extra hard. You can do that once or twice a day, that’s fine, I understand we all need breaks.
You should be scheduling your days in 15 minute time frames the day before you go to bed. From the moment you wake up, to the time you go to bed. Not in hour time frames, you need to be as specific as possible. If you can break it down even smaller like 10 minute time frames, even better! Jam pack your schedule, find things productive to plug-in on any and all free times. If you feel like the task will take you 20 minutes, schedule it for 15, push yourself to find ways to make things faster and to not slack off.
Now even during the time you sleep you can find things productive, listen to audio before you go to bed every night. Cant fall asleep with an audio on? You will adapt and get use to it, trust me. Do not let excuses get in the way of your dreams. By the time your down reading this book, and if you apply whats in it, I can personally guarantee you over time of doing this, you will be exactly where you want to be in life.
Anytime you are consciously doing something, Showering, getting ready, eating, whatever it is, you can be listening to an audio in the background subconsciously. You will be surprised how much your subconscious can absorb without you even knowing it.
You want to be successful? Disapline yourself to manage time successfully.
Conscious vs. Subconscious
Consciously you are limited to what you are able to do and how much you can do. You cannot consciously multitask, it is impossible. Now subconsciously, on average, you can multitask 10 different things. What am I getting at here? You need to get so good at what you do, you can do it subconsciously, without even thinking about it.
For example, you walk every day, breathe, blink, and many other things through out the day without ever having to think about it or focus on it. It comes natural. You need to get whatever you do to that point that it is like breathing, it happens naturally.
Now remember when I said you can’t multitask 2 things consciously at the same time? Go ahead and try it, go grab a new recipe you haven’t ever cooked before and try to cook it at the same exact time as reading this book. Now I’m not saying read a little then cook a little and keep switching back and forth, I’m saying do both at the same exact time with no breaks. Go ahead, try it. You will not be able to do it because consciously your mind can only focus on one thing at a time. Now, if you grabbed a recipe you have made a million times and don’t even need to look at the recipe anymore or set timers because it’s programmed into your head how to do it. Then grab this book and try to do both, you most likely will be able to do both.
What changed you may ask? You know that recipe so well that you don’t even have to think about it, some how subconsciously you know when it is done, how much of each thing to put in. You don’t have to focus consciously on measuring cups and timers. You can do the whole process without even thinking about it. When you can get the “Millionaire Mindset” down so well that you don’t have to think about it anymore, it just happens subconsciously, then you will know what true success is.
Check your Surroundings
Have you ever heard the saying, “you are equal to the 5 people you surround yourself with the most”? Well you have now, and it can’t be more true. This was something I had a downfall of with growing up, I always surrounded myself with people who weren’t going anywhere in life, and didn’t have a drive to. But I always told myself that I wouldn’t ever let that affect me and where I go, until I realized as long as I kept putting myself around them, I truly wasn’t going anywhere. The moment I separated myself from them, success came day by day.
If you want to be successful you need to surround yourself with the people you want to be like. You will eventually become a product of those surroundings. Always look up for new friends. Not down or straight out, but up. You cannot afford to surround yourself with people who don’t have the same drive as you.
Now how can you go along doing something like this? Well there are many ways. This is part of having that open mind I was talking about. With an open mind you can do anything
Masterminds, get apart of one. Get into a mastermind of people who all have the same goals and beliefs as you. Interact with them, let them know where you want to go, what your plans are. You don’t have to know how to get where you want to go, that will all fall into place eventually when surrounding yourself with the right people.
Seminars are another great thing to attend. Remember, an investment in yourself has the highest return. Nothing can ever beat those investments. Attend seminars that are local to you, now this isn’t something you have to do every week, 3-4 times a year is perfectly fine. Just stay active in attending them.
You need to get out of your comfort zone, as long as you’re in it, you will never achieve anything extraordinary. Which in order to be successful, you need to achieve extraordinary things. Ordinary isn’t successful, you want to go above and beyond and put in EXTRA effort. Where am I getting with this? Go out and meet new people. start a conversation with someone you haven’t talked to before. Regardless who you are, that can be pretty uncomfortable. If it feels uncomfortable, don’t even hesitate, just go do it.
Avoid those people who make excuses and can’t take responsibility for their outcomes. Remember when I said everything around you and what happens to you is a product of your mindset and what you believe in and focus on? That also means anything good, and anything bad, is a direct result stemming from you. Take responsibility for your actions and the actions around you. Trust me, it will not kill you.
Along with that you need to cut out the negative people in your life. Don’t surround yourself with people who are always complaining. Sorry to break the news to you, but complaining wont change the past. Let the past be the past and focus on the future. Don’t allow negative people to come and effect that for you.
Another huge thing is take advice from those who have the results you want. You wouldn’t go to a 300 pound personal trainer on advice for how to lose weight would you? So why would you go to someone who makes 40-50 thousand a year on how to become successful if they don’t have it themselves? Yes, this includes your parents. One of the biggest issues today is that financial knowledge is taught at home, and most homes are not financially successful. That would be like a math teacher trying to teach history, you can’t teach something you don’t have. So find those who have your results, and listen to them.
This is one of the biggest issues I see with everyone, but I can’t fully blame anyone for it. Check whats around you. TV is 95 percent negativity. The news is nothing but what bad is happening around the world. Drama TV shows. Music that degrades certain races and woman. Social Media where people post all there problems. Stay away from it!
In order to stay positive you need to surround yourself with it. You want to be successful? Get rid of your TV, if you got time for TV, you’re doing something majorly wrong. There is nothing wrong with watching videos, don’t get me wrong, but if your going to do it, why not watch a video on something that is useful? Find something you want to improve on in your life, then do research. Look up videos on how to do so, read articles on it. Work on yourself any free time you have.
For example, I personally am an Internet Marketer, but I will never say I know it all and am perfect and never need to do any research ever again. I got where I am today because I spent my time researching anything I wasn’t certain on to the point I knew it well enough I didn’t even have to look at notes anymore, It was engraved into my mind. Don’t know much about emails? Look it up. Ads aren’t converting? Look up how to improve them. This can be done with every single aspect in life regardless what it is.
What people don’t realize these days is the endless amount of opportunities and free knowledge at our finger tips we have if you just put the effort in to find it. The internet is a great and powerful thing with an endless amount of knowledge on it. There is enough knowledge on the internet that if you were to study it every day for your whole life, you wouldn’t have even scratched the surface of everything there is. More stuff is being uploaded daily then you can keep up with.
Do your research, develop that confidence in yourself, and get rid of the negative people and situations in your life, and you are bound to live a Life you are so much more grateful for and happy for, guaranteed.
Yes, in the beginning your going to be putting in hard work, lots of time, and lots of research and training. But you need to reward yourself. Don’t work yourself to the ground with no reward, you will eventually fall off track. Now I’m not saying go and blow all your money on a night out or buy that fancy car you always wanted. You still need to be smart. Blowing your investment will only bring you back down to ground zero.
But when you accomplish things that compliment your potential reward yourself. Go get that burger from your favorite restaurant you have been craving. Go get that new shirt you have been wanting. Give yourself an extra break through out that day, and if you reach a something big, maybe even take some time off for vacation. Give yourself that time off to relax and catch up so when you get back you can go full board again.
Giving yourself rewards is a good way to keep on track and achieve what you want. If you work yourself into the ground with no rewards here and there, you will eventually get unmotivated and possibly give up or slow down or get off track. Why do it if you’re not getting rewarded? This is completely fine to do something for yourself here and there. I actually strongly encourage it.
Another part of giving your self rewards is when going out, treat your self like your already a millionaire. Now I know, this sounds contradicting when I said don’t blow all your investment. But if your going to go out, make sure you can do it big. Fly first class, Get the best hotel you can stay out. Show yourself how it feels to be successful. Get a taste of it. This is actually an investment into yourself. How? Well if you know how it feels to be successful, you will want to do it every day, you wont want to go back to how you live now. So you will push that much harder to get where you want to be.
Always over deliver to yourself, and to others.
You can’t keep going at 100 percent through out each and every day if you’re not energized. You need to take care of yourself and your body. Your spirit and your mind. You need to be in top shape in every aspect to give your 100 percent through out every day.
Now doing this is not drinking energy drinks, coffee, ect… You need to stay away from all that! Stay away from sugary foods and drinks. Stay away from anything that will cause a crash. You may feel good temporarily, but it messes with your mind and thought process, and will eventually without even noticing it sometimes, affect your performance.
You also need to stay hydrated. Your body and mind can not perform properly if it isn’t hydrated. If you need to carry around a gallon jug with you and mark on the sides of it times throughout the day so you can keep track of how much water you have drunk, and how much you should have drunk. This will greatly increase your performance.
Along with water, you need to eat the healthiest foods you can afford. If you can afford organic, get it. Stay away from fast food, frozen dinners, ect. You will get out of your body what you put into it. You may not see or notice it now, but change your diet and change how much water you drink a day and watch the results.
Are you exercising every day? I hope you answered yes. Now no, you don’t have to go try to become a body builder, just get your blood flowing, get a little sweat. Work your muscles a little. Keep your body active and going, it will drastically help with your sleep cycle, the quality of your sleep, and believe it or not. You will have more energy physically and mentally throughout the day if you start your day off with a small work out every single day.
Listen to music that pumps you up. Put on music that gets you going when you work out or even when you shower. This will bring your energy up and will not crash like coffee and sugary foods and drinks will. When your driving to work listen to personal development audio until your 5 minutes from work then play one of your favorite songs right before getting to work. You will see a huge increase in energy if you do this in short periods of time.
If you have to take a power nap. Now a power nap is exactly that, a nap. You are not getting into bed, you are not getting the pillows, and you are not getting under covers or anything like that. simply lay down on the couch or where ever you are for 10-15 minutes and recover a little bit. Maybe even 30 minutes here now and then. If that helps you stay energized, put a power nap into your schedule but only take it if you have to.
You also need to be energetic even when you don’t feel it and are not in the mood. Regardless what it is or how you feel, be as energetic as you possibly can. Move with speed and urgency anywhere you go and for whatever reason it is. Stay motivated throughout the day.
Find your purpose
Find what you truly enjoy and stick to it. Do not let others impact your decisions. Do what you feel is right regardless what others say or what your told. This is your life, not theirs. The most important part is to not give up. Remember, the only way to ever fail at anything in life is to give up.
Think about it. How can you possibly fail at anything if you don’t give up. You need to see failure as what it truly is. Failure is not a step backwards, it is a step forward in the right direction, IF you do not give up. The only way for failure to be a bad thing and a step backwards is if you accept it as the final outcome and give up.
Failure is a step towards where you want to be. You will eventually run out of ways to fail, and have no other choice but to succeed, there is only so many wrong ways to do something. If you failed 100 times, great! Now you know 100 ways you don’t have to try any more and are 1 step closer to success. The only difference from someone who is successful, and some one who isn’t, is the successful person failed many more times than the person who isn’t successful.
Failing is simply learning. In order to master something, you have to know every way that doesn’t work, along with every way that does work. The only way to do that is to try every single possible way and see what works and what doesn’t. Once you have done that, your success will be higher than any one else’s and you will have no other choice but to succeed without question.
You also need to approach success as your duty, it is not an option. It is your duty. You also need to approach it as an ethical issue not a financial issue. Your purpose has to be bigger than just money in order to be successful. If your only goal is money, you will never be successful. What is it that you want to do with that money, who do you want to help, why do you want to help them. What do you want to do with that money, get specific.
You are going to have people doubt everything you do. People don’t want to see other people succeed. They will do everything they can to tear you back down, because putting in the effort to get to your level requires too much work for them, so they would rather put their time and effort into trying to tear you down. The more people you have doing this, the more you know you are doing right. People will not attack you in this manner unless you are doing something they are jealous of because they do not have it.
Beware of family with this as well, family and friends will be the very first to attack you on this. You would expect them to be the last, but almost always they are the first. You need to block them out and focus on you, what you want to do. They may not be trying to tear you down on purpose, they may be seriously trying to help you. They haven’t been successful, they don’t know what it takes or the mindset or drive it takes. So when they see it they think you are being crazy and try to bring you back down to their level. You cannot let this happen. It may, in some cases, even get to the point you need to separate yourself from them temporarily, or even permanently.
You need to get your message, your purpose, and your energy out there. You need to get yourself known. You need to make sure the whole world knows you, and never, ever, lower your goal physically or mentally. Make your voice heard. Once you are able to do this, you will grow so fast, you wont even know what to do.
You need to find your space, your niche, and you need to dominate it. You are not competing in it, you are owning it. You need to get so good there is no competition where you are at, because you are dominating your industry. In order to do this you need to put in great amounts of effort compared to the other people in your space. If they are putting in 12 hours a day, you need to put in 16 hours a day.
You need to make the news. Not watch it, not read it, but make it. Get yourself so known that everyone is talking about you. Get so much attention you are criticized for the amount of attention you are getting. But while doing so, you need to hold posture, and not let it get to you. Keep the same mindset, be grateful for everything and do not let anything get to your head.
You need to be so big in your space that your competitors are talking about you. You need to be the one that people compare to. You need to be the one people aim to beat or to be like. You need to be the one that people look up to and try to find new ways to beat yours. You want to be the top celebrity in your space when it comes to what you do.
Saved one of the most important fundamentals on how to be successful for last. Problems. Most people run away from problems, they don’t want them. But also, most people are in poverty. Money equals problems, and vise versa. The more problems you have, the more money you will have if you handle the problems correctly. If you make excuses, are negative, and say “why me” when faced with a problem, then you will not know how to turn problems into money.
When introduced with a problem you need to tackle it head on. You want problems. The more the better. The bigger the better, and hey, if you don’t want problems, give them to me. I would be glad to take them. Every successful person out in the world got successful off of problems. They take these and find solutions to them and then give the solution to the market place.
You need to focus on the problems you face daily, and find ways to make them better. Not only that but you need to find problems people around you are facing and find solutions to those to. Find common and similar problems in the market place that have not been given a solution yet, and make one.
Once you are able to flip your mindset from “Why do problems happen to me, this isn’t fair” to “How can I fix this problem and find a solution to it”. That right there alone, has the potential to make you successful financially as long as you have an open mind on how to do so. Finding solutions to these will not only help you financially. But it will help you in every aspect. You will make more time in your day for productive tasks if you find solutions to all the problems you encounter. You will have a more open and clear mindset when you are no longer introduced and faced with these problems.
The biggest thing though is once you find solutions to these problems, always look for more. There is an endless supply of them. The day you run out of problems to fix, will be the day you lose everything you worked hard for. You cannot quit once you have got to where you want to be. There is no such thing as to much success. You need to always keep pushing.
